The Baseload & Energy Assessment Summary Tool

This version of the B.E.A.S.T. is designed for use in the EIA's Rocky Mountian North region. The data used comes from the EIA's 2015 Residential Energy Consumption Survery.

The B.E.A.S.T. was developed to assist Weatherization and other energy assistance technicians in providing simple yet useful energy education. The system is meant to operate on minimal inputs in order to provide information in a fast-paced environment. The design is meant to empower occupants to take control of their energy usage, which can only happen if they have a firm understand of where their energy use goes.

Energy is ubiquitous... we all occupy buildings and we all use energy. The B.E.A.S.T. allows occupants to better understand their impact on their energy use to encourage a client focused conversation strategy.
