What is Weatherization?
The goal of weatherization is to reduce energy costs for low-income families, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children, by improving the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety.
Here at the Weatherization Training Center our goal is to train the professionals who are on the ground weatherizing homes every day. Working closely with Montana's Human Resource Development Councils and our Tribal associates, we focus on safe, efficient, cutting-edge techniques to address the health, safety, and energy efficiency issues present in low-income housing. Take a Virtual Tour to see some of the trainings we offer.
